Connecting Fathers is an interactive, hands-on experience where new dad brings his infant to allow expectant fathers see how another dad cares for his child when mom is taking a night off. The baby does a lot of the teaching because babies do what babies do over the course of two hours and dad can observe and ask questions about a father's role during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and beyond. The emphasis will be on the skills, roles and tools that dad brings to the parenting team and addresses key challenges such as crying babies, crying mothers, restoring the balance again and keeping the relationship fires burning brightly. Dad may return to class for one year free of charge after baby is born.
