Junior Volunteers

Applications Are Now Being Accepted for the 2012-2013 School Year

“Generation Impact,” is an exciting volunteer program for high school teenagers ages 15 to 18 that combines volunteerism and medical career exploration through the St. John Auxiliary.

To participate in the school year program, teens must commit to a minimum of 50 hours of service. This program provides flexibility by allowing teens to choose the day(s) and time(s) to volunteer, including weekends. The program runs from September 2012 through April 2013. Applications for the school year program will be accepted until Friday, January 18, 2013.

The summer program fills up fast! Beginning January 2013, applications will be accepted for the Monday/Wednesday and the Tuesday/Thursday summer sessions. Applications will be accepted until April 15, 2013.

The junior volunteer program is an exciting opportunity to meet other students from the Tulsa area, learn more about medicine and volunteer in the only Magnet hospital in northeast Oklahoma.

Junior volunteers purchase their own uniforms, participate in career exploration classes, and attend an annual recognition event. No membership dues are required.

For additional information about the junior volunteer program, please call Volunteer Services at 918-744-2198.
